Job Purpose

You will contribute to exciting innovative business projects where value is realized through the use of data. An increasing community of data professionals is working on those projects and the Data Analyst will be part of that community. 

As Data Analyst you will have a level of autonomy in organizing your own work and as you will be working with different technologies we provide opportunities to deepen and expand your knowledge by training, coaching and the variety of subjects to work on.

Key Accountabilities

  • Use data tools  to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets that could be helpful for the diagnosis and prediction
  • Interpret and explain results in a business context, discuss with business partners, and incorporate data-driven decision-making in Sales and Marketing domain . 
  • Provide quality assurance of imported data, working with other data stakeholders if necessary.
  • Oversee data related projects to extract, manage, and analyze data from multiple applications, ensuring that deadlines are met.
  • Identify business opportunities and ensure internal customer satisfaction. 
  • Keep abreast of industry best practices and connect Insights from data to Solutions. 
  • Identify trends and opportunities for growth and value generation through analysis and usage of complex data sets.
  • Participate in the development and improvements of a global central data platform to leverage different types and sources of data.
  • Get a sound understanding of the relevant business processes by acting as an intermediate between technical and  business users to translate the data into actionable insights.


Required skills
• Strong mathematical skills to help collect, measure, organize and analyse data. 
• Structured approach in creating Analytical products and solutions (eg. apply industry best practices in IT development)
• Knowledge of data visualization and modelling for Microsoft PowerBI. 
• Strong attention to detail. Be able to work with large datasets, often with technical names, spotting potential errors on the data, and without losing focus of the task at hand, and key deliverables.
• Results-driven and ability to handle multiple projects. 
• Understanding of and experience using analytical concepts and statistical techniques: hypothesis development, designing tests/experiments, analyzing data. 
• Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities. 
• Understands sensitivity and security questions around data. 
• Able to act in a complex multinational environment. 
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Proper English communication skills is a must. 
• Strong interpersonal and time-management skills.
Preferred skills 
• Knowledge of how to create and apply algorithms to datasets 
• Technical proficiency regarding database design development, data models, techniques for data mining, and segmentation.
• Understanding SAP related sales and marketing data.

Relevant experience  
• Experience with Cloud and data concepts running on Microsoft Azure Cloud.  
• Experience with data preparation tools: e.g. Alteryx, Azure Data Factory. 
• Experience with visualization tools: e.g. PowerBI and DAX.
• Experience in a Data Analyst position or similar role is required.  
• Experience with industrial processes through experience or internships. 
• Work in an agile environment. 
Educational qualifications 
• Bachelor's Degree in Analytics, Computer Science, or related field
