Job Purpose

Learns to develop first solid colors and when skilled on that move further to MM effect colors within the ASC color support team SSH (85%).

Approves colors for own level color developer. Consults an advanced color development expert, senior color development expert or the group leader color ASC in case of doubts (15%).

Key Accountabilities

Learns to develops all type of colors (solids, effects, 3-coats) within the ASC color support team SJ. Respects and work according set priorities.

Can work with all color FD related software tools. Ensures they’re calibrated and operated in the right way.

Approve above mentioned color types by himself and for others of the same level.

Knows all processes and follows the guidelines for formula development.

Keep MM pigment info and knowledge up to date.

Works closely together with other R&D teams (product development, solutions, applications) to come to the required results for the customers.

Follow 5S, BBS, safety rules. Ensures a safe work environment.

Continuous improvement of department knowledge and efficiency.

Experience

Color development experience is a pré.

MBO working and thinking level/experience.

Strong communication skills including fluent Dutch and English (speaking & writing).

Chemical background.Color and color software knowledge.

Pro-active, pragmatic hands on mentality, positive mentality with a strong drive for ownership and responsibility.

Ability to work collaboratively and flexible as part of a team and independently when required.

Able to adapt to rapidly changing priorities and deadlines.

Good computer skills (MS Office, SAP, color software).

Fully comply with all safety, health and environmental guidelines according to site and company standards.
