Purpose of the job

Technical service to (Automotive) OEM’s and their supply chain to support the growth and maintenance of the AkzoNobel – film business in Europe


Key responsibilities

•    Provide technical service regarding the use of Film products in EMEA in all phases of the sales process.
•    Contact point for customers in case of complaints related to Film products. This will be done in close communication with the production and quality team in the USA.
•    Film products are sold to specifications. The candidate is expected to manage this process.
•    Communicate updated technical data to appropriate channels.
•    Work with industry partners on technical developments. This is related to processing of film or supporting new product development.
•    Gets familiar with all the applicable corporate as well as site policies/procedures regarding personal conduct/HSE standards and acts in compliance with all their regulations.
•    Regularly monitor and update the CRM system

What do you bring? (job requirements)

•    Technical background at university level (HBO) 
•    Ability to work independent and pro-active work attitude
•    Strong analytical problem-solving skills
•    Good communicator
•    Good knowledge of English, German 
•    Good knowledge of plastics and processing required (injection moulding, thermoforming)
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office
