Within our organization, the Microbiology Expertise Group (MBEG) plays a vital role. Our team focuses on research, testing, and projects related to the microbiological protection of waterborne paints and related materials.
Your Mission
In this role, you’ll provide motivated and hands-on support to MBEG, applying your knowledge of technical, legal, HSE, and Product Stewardship principles.

What You Will Do
You will work in a dynamic laboratory environment focused on:

Preparing and executing microbiological tests under supervision of a project lead.

Setting up experimental designs and coordinating laboratory activities independently.

Performing experiments with precision and efficiency, analyzing and reporting your results.

Managing sample and panel preparation, paint application, classical microbiological testing, and general lab maintenance (cleaning, organization, supplies, and contacting services).

Supporting project updates and contributing to continuous improvement within the team.
What You Bring
- HBO degree in Microbiology or an equivalent field (PhD candidates will not be considered).

At least one year of hands-on laboratory experience in Microbiology.

Adaptability to changes in a dynamic lab environment.
-
Proactive team spirit and ability to work independently.
-
Strong communication skills with fluent written and spoken English.

Appreciation for working across different cultures and functions.
