The Global Product Safety and Regulatory Affairs (PSRA) department in Sassenheim, the Netherlands, is looking for a Regulatory Affairs Specialist (full time). In this role you contribute to team deliverables by ensuring regulatory compliance and providing Business support on full raw material portfolio.

Key responsibilities

In your role as Regulatory Affairs (RA) specialist you will work within the Raw Material Compliance team. This a team of specialists in data analysis and classification
and labeling compliance and part of the Global Product Stewardship and Regulatory Affairs (PSRA) department. The RA specialist ensures all raw materials are compliant with the
applicable regulatory requirements and company guidelines and policies. The PSRA department as part of R&D, is spread across the globe with a central base in Europe. It
supports local and global project teams and technology platforms in the development of new products and processes.

Main responsibilities:
• Contacts Suppliers for regulatory documents
• Evaluate and validate raw material information communicated via Supplier’s documents  Ensure latest raw material updates in all appropriate regulatory systems for accurate
• information output
• Support introduction of new raw materials into the required systems and extensions to
• manufacturing sites
• Respond to raw material inquiries from internal stakeholders.
• Understands (inter)depencies of regulatory systems framework
• Maintains working knowledge of European hazard classification and labeling regulation and ensures retentions of knowledge.

We are looking for someone who likes doing the operational part of this role and likes to do data entry work. You gain energy from keeping the information in the system up to date and you enjoy stakeholder management.

Other requirements:
• (Technical) Bachelor or equivalent. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply
• Chemical knowledge is a plus
• Teamplayer
• Comfortable with agile operating procedures
• Accuracy and eye for details
• Eager to learn with an enquiring mind
• Basic understanding of MS Office
• Fluent in Dutch or English (spoken and written)
