Let's paint the picture for the role
We are looking for a Regional Product Manager in Aerospace. This is fixed-term 18-month position. It focusses to harmonize and rationalize product specifications and align related master data across regions and functions. You'll play a key role in improving our product management processes to enable growth and enhance service levels.
Responsibilities
Specification Portfolio Management
• Coordinate the lifecycle of product specifications as a portfolio: introduction, maintenance, and elimination
• Coordinate initiatives to streamline and reduce obsolete or slow-moving specifications
• Ensure compliance of master data with technical specifications from R&D and PSRA
• Collaborate with product managers and data specialists to maintain high data quality
• Support marketing and commercial teams with relevant specification information and insights
• Utilize and interpret internal and external market information related to products and specifications to understand customer needs and present conclusions and recommendations
• Coordinates action to ensure that TDS/SDS/labels and Data master information are compliant with legal/specifications requirements of destination markets
• Align specification master data with the overall product portfolio and coordinate workload priorities across teams
Process Optimization
• Analyze current specification management processes across multiple sites
• Coordinate process improvement and alignment initiatives
• Contribute to the design and continuous improvement of specification and product data management processes in support of business growth
• Drive best practices for specification management, including the use of IT tools
• Act as the primary contact for stakeholders regarding continuous improvement of specification and data processes
What you need to be successful in this role?
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Chemistry, or related field
• 4+ years of experience in R&D, project management, or a commercial environment
• Strong analytical skills and business acumen
• Experience working in multi-disciplinary and/or global teams is preferred
• Technical and commercial knowledge of the aviation industry is a plus
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and negotiate
• Agile mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Proficient in English
• Experience with SAP/PMMT and Microsoft Excel at an intermediate level or higher
• Ability to manage competing priorities, build consensus, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
• Resilience and composure under pressure, especially during crisis situations
