Purpose of the job

The Project Consultant HR Technology is responsible for deliverable and solution realization and enabling the execution of HR technology projects, managed by the project manager.

You will report into the Functional Domain Lead HR in the Center of Expertise IM.

The Center of Expertise IM is responsible for providing sustainable, efficient, robust and secure IT solutions. In addition, the team will be responsible to train, educate and ensure the right capabilities are available to meet the business project and major change needs.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with cross-functional teams on executing HR technology programs. You will be involved in project activities from end-to-end from optimizing current solutions as well implementing new solutions.


Key responsibilities

  • Responsible for solution realization in projects
  • Contribute to the realization of the solution in close collaboration with the project team, the project manager, Solution Architects and business stakeholders
  • Work under operational guidance of project managers to plan and execute projects according to the IM processes
  • Supports the project manager in delivering the project within the defined scope, time utilization and budget
  • Provide functional expertise in the project in the relevant domain.
  • Work with the (Solution) Architecture team to ensure that standards are implemented consistently
  • Identification, analysis, mapping and documentation of information needs of current and future processes/systems
  • Ensures that requirements defined in solution description are implemented accordingly
  • Identify, handle and resolve project delivery issues in the associated (business) domain
  • Anticipating issues and acting proactively to address potential issues
  • Collecting and updating project status materials
  • Managing project products and configuration management for deliverables such as process flows, specifications and functional/technical designs
  • Facilitate user testing and user acceptance testing
  • Facilitate user training and workshops
  • Cooperate and collaborate with GBS-IM on Service Introduction management

What do you bring?

  • Master and/or Bachelor degree
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in HR Technology and specifically involved in larger HR integration projects.
  • Fluent in English, verbally and written.
  • Broad and deep knowledge and experience with HR technology platforms preferable SuccessFactors.
  • Experience with both formal methods and best practice solutions regarding project delivery.
  • Experience with consulting or business process roles.
  • Knowledge and experience in HR technology and integrations (eg SAP Cloud Platform Integration).
  • Agile methodologies (eg Devops).
