Within A&SC the role of Product Manager MIXIT / Mixit Pro reports to the Color Tools Manager and is part of the Color Marketing department. Right First time and color formula availability is essential for the BU A&SC and is a driver of success of the business.

Within this context, your mission in this role is to assume responsibility for the global Color Software strategy and assortment plan for all segments within the BU, in alignment with the overall business area color. In doing so you act as a sparring partner for Marketing, R&D, IM and the Regions, liaising with BU Technical & Color Support Manager, Regional Color Coordinators, Regional Digital Color Champions and other stakeholders to ensure local needs are considered during all project phases.

We are looking for a tech-savvy project manager or a technologist with strong organizational skills that is capable of leading a team that builds sustainable products.  You will be acting as the product owner for Mixit Pro, managing and maintaining our offline color retrieval tool.  Also you will be acting as the product owner in the (hardware) integration team of our cloud based color retrieval tool MIXIT.   

Key responsibilities

  • Color products are central to the success of A&SC, therefore this is a high profile, multi-facing role based at our large site at Sassenheim in the Netherlands.
  • The role will be focusing on two main tasks: 
    • First: maintaining the color retrieval tool Mixit Pro. Ensuring monthly updates are delivered timely and in full and software updates are done on a quarterly basis. 
    • Second: For MIXIT you will be acting as the product owner of the (hardware) integration team. It's your responsibility to ensure a smooth and stable integration with local hardware and the line of business. 
  • Together with other Product Managers MIXIT and the Color Tools Manager VR, you will define a strategy and long term vision on how we further facilitate the color needs for our global customers.  
  • You will drive high impact initiatives that require alignments with multiple functional partners throughout the company. 
  • Identify and manage stakeholders, collaborate with them to discover opportunities and gather market feedback to prioritize and define business value of the team's deliverables. 
  • Evaluate the state of tools and integrations and follow up on improvements or changes that create business opportunities and/or increase user satisfaction. 
  • Responsible for the reference guides and release notes for color software for your scrum team. 

What do you bring?

You have a Bachelor’s degree in IT with an affinity for Marketing and you have 2-5 years of experience in a software development environment, ideally including experience as a Product Owner, Project Manager or Requirement Analyst. You are Result driven and a flexible pro-active team player and are capable of defining, constructing and communicating a product vision. You have great coordination and organizational skills, allied to an affinity for the business context of IT, who can communicate clearly, concisely and persuasively and feels comfortable in presenting to senior managers and large groups. You also feel challenged and motivated by solving hard problems.
You have excellent formal and informal international communication skills, including fluent written and spoken English.
