Lets paint the picture of this role
Join our dynamic team as a Product Manager focused on supporting global projects within the Coatings portfolio, primarily concerning "colored" products in Topcoats (SB/WB) and Primers. Be at the forefront of driving color performance and portfolio enhancement initiatives, contributing significantly to our strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
Color Support:
- Set up and maintain CV color data in databases like Mixit, Automatchic, and Color DMS.
- Analyze color data to define selections, set up test programs, and create Color Work Request forms for the color center.
- Represent CV in projects related to color reference, tools, or product assortment.
- Ensure optimal alignment of core primer colors with the BT Topcoat Platform.
Data/ERP Support:
- Support material hierarchy creations and product extensions in ERP systems.
- Contribute to significant product master data improvement projects/initiatives.
- Establish best practices in product management across the business unit, particularly regarding IT-tools and data processes.
Portfolio and Product Performance Support:
- Assist Category Manager with projects to enhance portfolio/product performance.
- Support managing the product portfolio in line with agreed strategy and plans.
- Collaborate with Global Product Manager, Category Managers, and Regional Product Managers on market position analysis and opportunities.
What you need to be successful
- You have a background in a commercial role, sales, marketing, or similar field.
- HBO or University qualification in engineering, chemistry, business management, or marketing.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to influence and communicate well-balanced solutions.
- Proven track record of successful project management and business acumen.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and understanding of data systems like SAP and Focus.
- This position is based in Sassenheim, and we offer a hybrid work-from-home policy.
