At AkzoNobel in Sassenheim, we produce well-known brands such as Lesonal, Dynacoat, and Sikkens for the automotive repair market, aircraft, and super yachts. After manufacturing our products, they undergo quality control and are processed into various packaging formats. To strengthen our production team of around 200 colleagues, we are currently seeking multiple:

Operators
Sassenheim, 40 hours per week


We have vacancies in both the Production and Filling departments. These departments function as highly independent teams. We will discuss and determine the team that suits you best.

The Production department is responsible for the final product. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Handling raw materials, operating and moving solvent and mixing tanks.
  • Mixing raw materials and producing the final product according to the recipe card. Adjusting the machine if necessary during the process.
  • Ensuring proper functioning of the operated machine by following the recipe card and machine instructions.
  • Performing simple maintenance tasks.


In the Filling department, your tasks will include:

  • Connecting the tank and collecting packaging and labels.
  • Filling the packaging according to scheduled orders.
  • Ensuring proper functioning of the machine by following checklists and instructions.
  • Setting up and adjusting filling machines according to standard procedures.
  • Placing packaging on pallets following guidelines.
  • In all cases, you will work according to established safety guidelines, rules, and procedures.


Our production operators work in 2- or 3-shift rotations: 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, 1:45 PM to 9:45 PM, and in the 3-shift rotation from 9:45 PM to 5:45 AM. Occasionally, you may be asked to work on weekends. Please note that we will provide you with BHV+ training as an operator, which includes both BHV and respiratory protection training.

f you can check off the following points, we would love to hear from you:

  • You live within the European union and/or have a visa that allows you to work in the Netherlands.
  • You have a vocational (vmbo) or secondary vocational education (mbo).
  • Preferably, you already possess a VCA certificate or are willing to obtain one.
  • You are proficient in the English language in all aspects (speaking, reading, writing, understanding).
  • Experience in a production environment is an advantage.
  • Physical strength is essential if working in manufacturing.
