Are you ready to take on a key leadership role in shaping the future of raw material sourcing for a global organization?
We’re looking for a passionate and skilled professional to join our team as a Category Manager for Minerals Extenders. Based in one of our EMEA locations—Great Britain, the Netherlands, or Spain—this role offers an exciting opportunity to lead sourcing strategies that directly impacts our manufacturing plants across the region.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sourcing activities aligned with organizational objectives. From negotiating and managing contracts to fostering world-class supplier relationships, you’ll take the lead in driving performance and innovation within the Minerals Extenders Spend Category. Acting as a critical interface between sourcing and RD&I teams, you’ll optimize supplier pipelines and support new product introductions.
This position requires a high level of expertise in the chemical or minerals industry, an ability to manage diverse supplier bases, and experience formulating and executing strategic plans. You will monitor global raw material markets, translate trends into actionable opportunities, and manage supply risks to ensure business continuity.
We’re seeking a candidate with at least 10 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or purchasing, preferably within the chemical, coatings, or automotive industries. Leadership experience in managing teams or categories is essential, along with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in science, engineering, or business (an MBA or CPM certification is highly valued). Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills are critical for success.
