Job Purpose
As a member of the EMEA Key Account Team contributes to the Regional strategy execution plan and takes a lead in defining, and owning, the specific implications for the business. Directs and leads the execution of agreed sales -, selected cost from the P&L- and profitability related targets; in line with the strategy initiatives and mandates by driving customer focus, and service deployment. Acts as leader in driving commercial excellence in daily operations and project work.
Responsibilities
• Builds and secures the foundation to be able to do business with key accounts (influencer: OEMs, insurance companies, work provider) by installing and maintaining a contractual relationship on HQ level.
• Owner of the HQ relationship who coordinates all activities with the influencer, responsible for proposing and agreeing action plans.
• Finds and creates new business opportunities (business development) with the influencers and defines and communicates action plans, reports on progress and results.
• Secures contracts and coordinates, monitors and reports back on implementation status and takes corrective action wherever required on a worldwide basis
• Builds and maintains a pipeline for growth with selected key accounts, incl. commercial decisions. Delivers major sales opportunities for these selected key accounts which are reported through the P&L of the respective sales regions.
• Responsible for people management (e.g. local sales, regional BDM) in addition playing a leadership and coordination role during project works, tenders and daily routines with the regional sales teams.
What do you bring?
• Bachelor degree or higher in a relevant area of formation (Economics, Chemistry, …)
• in-depth knowledge of the organizations (own and influencer), people, needs and requirements.
• Highest level of customer orientation.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
• Minimum 3-5 years of KAM, Sales or other relevant experience.
