Junior Technical Service Representative

Purpose of the job

Provides professional delivery of expert technical support and high expert level of training to internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducts the products’ tests & evaluation and participates in the work of the project teams preparing the new product launches.
  • Collects and communicates (updates on) technical documentation, training materials, etc. for use by local field force.
  • Gives recommendations to the upper management regarding the use (including, training types and participants) of the relevant training center.
  • Provides expert knowledge to the technical and sales departments in handling complex technical issues and in educating customers on the solutions.
  • Manages and provides expert knowledge in complaint handling regarding products, their performance and applications.
  • Proactively informs customers about the opportunities for development.
  • Manages demonstrations of paint / non-paint application techniques to customers and prospects.
  • Performs detailed and specific technical scans and process mapping at designated customers using a checklist and reporting tool. Creates proposal for the modification of the checklist based on experience and case to case situations. Trains the technical teams in the use of the checklist as performance of the scanning process.
  • Assists Sales departments in the implementation of sales strategies and within the key phases of the sales process, giving technical expert knowledge to their prospects.
