Job Purpose

As part of our technical team, you will provide support and service to both internal colleagues and external customers. You will assist with questions related to the use and application of our products, deliver training sessions, and provide create clear documentation for the use and application of our products to ensure succeed usage at the customer. This role is a combination of technical skills, product knowledge, and customer relations in a dynamic and collaborative environment where learning and growth are encouraged.

 

A strong focus of this role is hands-on experience with coatings, surface preparation, and application processes in an industrial environment.

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Deliver & support organization of customer training sessions, ensuring smooth preparation and execution of all required materials and demonstrations.
  • Assist technical support to customers at their site : for training, for demonstration of our products, for solving technical issues, small customer complaints, 
  • Provide hands-on technical assistance to the Technical Team in areas such as complaint investigations, product assessments, and laboratory testing.
  • Support and advise customers on coating application techniques, process optimization, and best practices to ensure correct product performance.
  • Contribute to customer satisfaction by delivering clear and accurate reports following tests, projects, and customer visits.
  • Participates in project teams for new product launches by performing industrial assessment
  • Maintain and develop technical competence related to product applications, equipment, and testing procedures.
  • Represent the company professionally during customer visits, trainings, and internal collaborations, ensuring high standards of safety and compliance.

 

Key Activities

  • Training & Demo : Prepare and apply panels, manage paint orders, and coordinate training logistics (e.g., sample preparation, certificates, and materials).
  • Perform coating application using various methods
  • Perform laboratory tests according to defined plans, validate test methods with manager, and assess results.
  • Assist with technical studies, product demonstrations, and industrial assessments in coordination with senior team members & management.
  • Support technical at customer location on product demonstration, training
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing by sharing customer insights and supporting product launch activities and demonstrations.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and HSE standards, and be available for travel to customer sites (up to 50%).

 

Education & Work Experience:  

  • Background in the Aerospace Paints and Coatings industry or a B2B industrial environment, 
  • Proven hands-on experience with industrial coating application and surface preparation processes
  • 3-5  years of work experience in a technical services, R&D, Supply chain
  • MBO in paints
  • Fluent in English (any other language is an extra)

 

Skills:

  • Possess strong analytical and problem solving skills and have an eye for detail
  • Professional verbal and written communication as well as presentation skills required
  • Exposure/ experience with paint application, processing, and measurement equipment; automated application / robotic equipment experience beneficial
  • Strong practical knowledge of coating application parameters
  • Knowledge of various industrial coating products and processes
  • Successfully work in various sized groups or alone in a fast-paced and multi-tasking environment

 

The position is graded between G7 - G9, depending on experience and skills.
