The placement can last from 6 to 12 months, and starting dates and topics will be defined individually, depending on the team where the internship takes place and available projects.

What could the internship involve?
The student will be part of a team or project group working on coating formulations and performing a variety of test with a high degree of independence. Literature, internal reports and coating educating syllabi are present to be used to acquire theoretical knowledge. All equipment necessary for paint formulation is available. The student will have a very regular contact with the supervisor to discuss approach, results, and continuation. The subject for the internship can have a more innovative character (technology/concept development) or focussed on product development. Several continuously evolving subjects are available, so is not possible to predict which projects will be worked on in advance. Regardless of this, all interns will have the opportunity to have an in-depth learning of coating technology and doing research in an industrial organisation.
What do you need to have to be successful in this Internship?
- On-going study in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering (MBO/HBO/WO)
- Good knowledge of the English language
- Proactive, self starter anf good communication skills
- Hands on mentality and a high level of curosity
- Possess creativity to deal with practical problems and a strong drive to deliver
- Being a Team Player
