Internship – Packaging Data & Specification Development (6 months minimum)

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Packaging team for a minimum of 6 months. This internship offers hands-on experience in packaging development, master data management, and specification creation within an international business environment.
What you will do
During this internship, you will support and contribute to key packaging activities, including:
- Creation and maintenance of packaging master data
- Development and standardization of packaging specifications
- Develop a dynamic Power BI dashboard to map and monitor tertiary packaging compliance against the new EU PPWR requirements
- Working with cross-functional teams (Procurement, Commercial, Technical)
- Supporting data validation and ensuring data accuracy and consistency
What you will learn
This internship is designed to help you build strong capabilities in:
- Packaging design at a global scale: how standards are built across EMEA and adapted for local manufacturing and regulations
- Regulatory tech in action: translating EU PPWR compliance requirements into live Power BI dashboards
- Materials know-how: working across metal cans, pails, IBCs, and other packaging technologies
- SAP master data: creating and managing global packaging data, keeping things consistent across plants and countries
- Real factory floor perspective: seeing firsthand how packaging decisions affect filling lines, logistics, and efficiency
- Supplier world: engaging with international vendors and understanding how qualification and sourcing decisions are made
- Cross-functional collaboration: working at the intersection of packaging, procurement, operations, and commercial teams
- Business impact: understanding how packaging drives cost savings, sustainability, and efficiency at scale
Who you are
We are looking for someone who is:
- A student in the final years of a degree in Packaging Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field
- Highly organized and methodical
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data accuracy
- Comfort with Excel is a must. Experience with Power BI or any data visualization tool is a strong plus
- Analytical and proactive
- Interested in packaging, operations, or supply chain
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
