In short (Purpose of the job)

Our Automotive business segment supplies interior and exterior coatings as well as coatings for commercial vehicles and commercial transport. Our Premium OEM business works with some of the most famous names in the automotive industry, on some of the most advanced and exciting supercars.

Key responsibilities

  • For the assigned scope of countries, the demand planner is responsible to:
  • Monthly create and update the 0-36 month demand plan in volume, ASP and Revenue, by using available statistical and analyses tools  (ao Jedox/Power BI), assumption review, adding market intelligence, opportunities and vulnerabilities via demand review meetings.
  • Prepare and lead the local demand reviews with sales teams and consolidate the output as preparation for the DMR.
  • Monitor, analyze and improve demand planning KPIs (Forecast Accuracy, Bias, FC consumption, FC changes).  
  • Prepare and conduct daily MDI and weekly demand control meetings to identify short-term deviations from the plan in order to define and take appropriate action
  • Identify and conduct continuous improvement activities within Demand Planning processes
  • Facilitate the SLOB management process and ensure actions are taken to reduce SLOBS
  • Maintain demand planning relevant master data in the various systems and ensure the “one-set of number” principle and data is used across the various systems
  • Support initiatives that contribute to increase customer satisfaction
  • Support in deployment of regional Demand planning activities 
  • Develop cross functional relationships with key stakeholders as Sales, Customer services and Supply Chain

What do you bring?

  • A demonstrated affinity with Demand Planning, Supply Chain, or Sales is a must. 
  • Master degree in Business economics, Industrial engineering, Science or equivalent with 2 years of relevant working experience or Bachelor candidates with minimum of 6 years of working experience in similar roles, preferably in FMCG.
  • Passion to contribute to the satisfaction of customer needs in high pressure and demanding environment
  • Stakeholder management able to build relations and manage stakeholders at different levels, functions, both internally & externally 
  • Continuous improvement and pro-active mind-set, ability and flexibility to adapt to new ways of working and changing conditions
  • Coordinating skills: excellent time management and organisational skills, able to organize and (re)prioritize tasks
  • Stress resistant and independent way of working
  • Communication skills: Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
  • Analytical: Affinity with numbers and data, excellent analytical skills, and being able to turn data into information.
  • System capability: Advanced Excel skills, SAP, (Power) BI, Jedox, MS Office, Access
  • Fluent in English is a must
  • This position is preferably done from the Netherlands, but other countries within Europe are possible.
