From our Above Market Planning center (AMP) in Sassenheim our Capacity & Resource Managers collaborate with our main stakeholders in Supply Chain Planning, demand, manufacturing, logistics, procurement and external suppliers. Our Capacity & Resource Managers oversee and manage the production and warehouse capacity across the EMEA sites to secure target service levels and optimize E2E supply chain costs. They manage inventory health and drive SLOBs reduction. They are a member of the DECO EMEA Sourcing board. 

Our department serves the business units of Decorative Paints, within the supply planning project team we are looking for one additional capacity & resource manager. You’ll work closely with 3 others and report to the Projects and CI Manager Supply Chain EMEA.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the production & warehouse capacity across the EMEA sites to secure target service levels and optimize E2E supply chain costs
  • Manage exceptions and build potential mitigation scenarios to close the gaps.
  • Provide capacity planning input to IBP and S&OE and lead / drive MDI and gatekeeping meetings with the different functions
  • Ensure good communication and integration with other planning teams, manufacturing, logistics, customer care and other stakeholders
  • Support projects and process improvement to enhance performance and efficiency of the required planning activities (SLOBs, Inventories and Service across scope site / supply points).

The supply planning Project team and Planner teams in our AMP department are a highly diverse mix of over 60 supply chain enthusiasts with over 20 different nationalities from across the globe.
