Assistant Specialist R&D

Key responsibilities

The primary focus of the role is to support the projects for our Woodcare brands around the world. You will work primarily on developing innovative and sustainable solutions for brands like Sikkens, Sadolin, Cuprinol, Ceta Bever and Xyladecor. It also includes complaint solving, color development, modifying existing formulations according to latest (local) regulations, and ensuring product stewardship guidelines. You will set up and execute your own experimental work in the lab and report your results in writing and/or by giving presentations. 


To apply for this position you must possess the following attributes:
•    Bachelor’s degree (HBO) in Chemistry or a related field; with 0-3 years experience
•    MBO 3-5 years working experience in Research, preferably in coatings
•    Good communications skills including fluent written and spoken English
•    Have a passion for Research within a laboratory environment
•    Able to work as a team player and support others in the laboratory
