Regional Level:


  • Act as the guardian and custodian of our brands in South America, ensuring the positioning of the brands are preserved and respected and that the executions are consistent – with the clear objective of attaining brand preference amongst all the brands target audiences
  • Collaborate with the global organization to further refine and nurture our brand models
  • Establish and define the brands communication calendar and execute them with content that cuts through and by utilizing our media budgets with up to date media tactics
  • Coordinate the development and adaptation of branded contents that advertise our product and service propositions
  • Lead, plan and execute media plans across the line
  • Lead media and activation strategy (including to sales) and planning for optimization of reach and impact of A&P budgets aligned with Central Communications Principles;
  • Manages and optimizes allocated A&P communications spend. Also responsible to align with Regions on the activity to optimize ROI of total A&P by aligning implementation of BU created activity
  • Manage the brands advertisement budge

Key Activities:

  • Leads translation of the brand plan into the marketing communications strategy in coordination with local marketing managers to strengthen product (portfolio) and brand recognition, equity and share of mind in the market(s)
  • Manages team and translates and amplifies global/regional initiatives, strategies, content and activation into compelling stories to be used internally and externally to drive share of mind, brand preference, lead generation and conversion for all relevant audiences
  • Manages own team and in coordination with external partners and digital marketing team, leads the production of agreed global and regional marketing communications collateral. This includes sales tools, literature, advertising, websites, social media channels, exhibitions and tradeshows, trade media PR and video production. Ensures the projects are delivered within deadlines and boundary conditions (budget, quality).
  • Act as the content owner and actively supporting the brands' presence in on line and off line owned, earned and paid channels ensuring a consistent approach is achieved a across regions
  • Leads global and local implementation and development of social media strategy and content in coordination with BU Digital Marketing Manager
  • Maximizes the content, impact and ROI of our brands' communication through our owned, earned and paid digital channels and exploits digital and content marketing techniques where relevant.
  • Secures (on and offline) setting, tracking and reporting of relevant KPIs. Reviews KPI’s and implements changes in both the communications approach and follow up mechanism to ensure and grow the return on investment.
  • Leads local media strategy and planning in line with the Communications Principles and maximizes the effectiveness of the A&P budget.          
  • Drives PR opportunities connected with content and activation in line with Central Marketing and corporate Communications teams
  • Works with central team to define and implements standard work processes and shared tools and assists the organization to build, share and implement best practices.
  • Assists the Marketing Director with the budget allocation and other prioritization tasks to ensure maximum ROI on our marketing effort.
  • Contributes to corporate communications to incorporate marketing related messages into internal channels
  • Develops the team on key competencies required for their roles vial on the job training and coaching.
  • Represent SAM on the Global Color Community, translating and equipping the country teams with proper tools, strategies and repertoire to sell more color
  • Lead the Content & Campaign production for the Region and Regional Projects also acting as the Regional representative on Global Comms Projects
  • Grow Mental Availability and Brand Equity at Contry Level measured by TOM, Brand Consideration and Preference managing the Comms and Color A&P always improving the levels of ROI


  • University degree in Marketing, Administration, Engineering or related fields.
  • Desirable Postgraduate degree in Marketing, Communication or Advertising
  • Fluent English is required
  • Experience in Marketing or Sales
  • Experience in managing teams
  • Desirable experience in working in matrix organizations
