We are looking for a Demand Planning Process Coach to work at our Morumbi Office.
Job Purpose:
Bow tie partner between BU and ISC CoE, Demand Hub and Global IBP; supporting as process coach on Demand planning & IBP process, platforms & tools
The role provides benchmarking and process maturity advice to the Business Process Manager who is responsible for process design. The Business Process coach is responsible for aligning requirements for global process design, build, pilot and aligning the implementation plan with regional leaders following BPM guidelines and priorities.
Responsibilities:
Demand planning -> APT OMP CI & Coaching/Training; Demand Hub interface
- Guide BU demand team to leverage OMP & embed using statistical forecasting in demand planning, using Forecast Value Add as a lead indicator- analyze, monitor, and recommend improvements per BU/CU (While it continues to be line responsibility of the BU Demand team and should be reviewed in the relevant IBP meeting and Demand BPO plays a supportive role)
- Interface between BU and Demand Hub. Ensure routine/operational activities are as per timeline for the BU; raise escalations/ requests on behalf of the BU; help with process alignment
- OMP Forecastability v2 and other CI – coordinate on behalf of BUs; raise user stories
- Support in deployment/utilization of OMP to run weekly S&OE
- OMP: Create and maintain required pyramids, dashboards/reports/pivots, DemandGroups, and AAA segments
- APT support - measure process adherence and recommend improvements per CU
- APT design – test + deploy+ monitor ; participate in release 2 detailed design to validate key user inputs globally
- Demand planning team training & onboarding - coordinate per BU
- Project Planning Groups / Planning codes design- support per BU
- Support BU(s) in projects contributing to the improvement of DP process
- Share best practices across regions/BUs for improving demand plans
DART support
- DART trouble shooting
- DART onboarding / training
- DART CI user stories
- DART Access housekeeping
- Deploy non-SAP feeder for APT out-of-scope businesses (Russia, SAM Orbiz, ASC Films) to move all AkzoNobel to DART v5
IBP and S&OE
- Support in IBP maturity assessment and in projects related to improvement of IBP
- Support ISC CoE & BUs with commercial side of S&OE maturity assessment, standard S&OE deployment, CI
- Support in keeping IBP KMS updated (eg DP Community, IBP chair & facilitator)
- Support BUs as process coach for IBP FLM (the Power BI tool) – help drive deployment, training, troubleshoot, raise CI user stories
- Support Global IBP with monthly checks on IBP FLM data quality and data gaps and work with BU teams to address them.
Education:
- Masters or Bachelors in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or similar
Experience:
- At least 8 years in Supply Chain/ Supply Planning/ Demand Planning function. Expert understanding of IBP and end-to-end planning processes
Specific knowledge:
- APICS certification is beneficial and if not yet achieved, it is expected to be reached within 2 years on the job.
- Strong experience in performance measurement, identification & application of error metrics, root-cause analysis, etc.
- Has a good understanding of the AkzoNobel (ERP) system Landscape and the differences between systems.
- Hands-on experience on Advanced Planning System or demonstrated process excellence to quickly learn and master APS
- Good communication skills and networking skills
- Ability to influence/ motivate different stakeholders across levels and functions
- Very strong analytical and problems solving abilities.
- Strong in planning and organizing, with high process orientation.
- Ability to work with stringent deadlines and manage stress
- Proficient in MS Office, Excel, Powerpoint.
- Fluency in English
