Key Accountabilities

  • Performs daily production, preventative maintenance, process data collection, and administration tasks per procedures and control systems.
  • Takes ownership of production assets and ensures they are operated safely and in compliance with established procedures, guidelines, and industry best practice.
  • Ensures all (shift team) production targets are met while maintaining appropriate quality standards.
  • Issues corrective action request (CAR) and hazard report when any relevant issue is noticed, regardless of location or responsible department.
  • Actively participates in safety programs, performing daily checklists and 5S participation.
  • Reports safety, quality, or other issues related to products or production processes to Team Leader/Shift Supervisor.
  • Contributes to the investigation of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) or quality issues for customer complaints, reject batches, or other quality related issues.
     

Job Requirements

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment.  Experience in a paint or chemical manufactring facility preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office preferred.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and follow safety instructions and safety guidelines.
  • Ability to lift and handle containers.
  • Ability to climb stairs wearing steel-toed footwear.
  • Ability to work in hot and cold environments and inclement weather.
  • Ability to work in manufacturing environment with exposure to chemical agents.
  • Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time.
  • Must be fluent in English.

Total Compensation

The hourly rate for these skills is $21.50+ per hour.  This position is bonus eligible.  This is the rate that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.  This salary range may also be modified in the future.
