Job Description


1. Purpose/Key Objectives of the Job


To mature its Master Data Management (MDM) Services has set up Global MDM capabilities into its Global Business Services organization. The Master Data Operations Steward for Legal & Integrity will be part of the Master Data Services Operations team and will be executing master data maintenance processes within SLAs, including its controls. The Master Data Steward will also be responsible for the Legal Entity & Bank Account Management, master data maintenance for users of external banking system, creating and maintaining authorizations of the users in the banking system and improving the bank account management system (LEBAM).


​​​​​​​2. Responsibilities

  • Process user requests for access to electronic banking systems within adhered SLA and escalate to Team Lead in case of any exceptions.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for the recurring escalations and errors reported in process and ensure to execute CAPA (Corrective Action & Preventive Action) for errors identified.
  • Support the implementation of master data quality rules and master data definitions.
  • Support L&C Team Lead on process standardization and optimization in order to increase the process efficiency.
  • Pro-active follow-up to business users with regular updates on requests from Requesters.
  • Support Team Lead and Operations Manager for strategic decisions related to process.
  • Support Team Lead with specific process related tasks, Root cause analysis, Audit, Reporting, etc.
  • Master data maintenance with respect to legal entities such as changing statutory directors, banking accounts and banking mandates
  • Support Team Lead with preparing (template) reports for various stakeholders within the organization;
  • Assessing legal documents on reliability
  • Preparing control reports for control of bank accounts
  • Set up and manage user accounts of LEBAM
  • Periodically performing data quality reviews
  • Reporting on required changes in banking systems
  • Manage issue fixing with business key users and IM support
  • Support other activities as needed of treasury & insurance team as may be agreed from time to time
  • Build working relationships and foster communication with internal customers within and across organizational and geographic boundaries


​​​​​​​3. Job Requirements

Essential educational qualifications, relevant experience and requested skills.


  • Post-Graduation in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, IT or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a shared service centre with experience in MDM in finance and SAP domains and or legal & compliance related functions
  • Basic understanding the concept of legal entities and corporate structures, bank account management and security and previous experience working on ServiceNow is highly preferred.
  • Experience in implementation of services in a Shared Services environment preferred
  • Experience/ knowledge of banking systems and compliances is preferred.
  • Experience in complex business environments with multiple stakeholders, including service providers for both IT as organizational/process capabilities
  • Strong knowledge of Excel tool
