Purpose/Key Objectives of the Job

Global I2C Champion in the Global Process Team is responsible for the process design (level 1-4) including IM alignment for systems, policies, compliance, operational reporting, operational analysis, standard operating procedures, training, and closure of deviations to standards. 

Global Process Champion-I2C is responsible for:

  • Design of the global standard processes/policies/reporting of I2C
  • Owner of the global standard operating procedures (level 4)
  • Design and contact training in the I2C area
  • Drive process/policy/reporting standardization and improvements
  • Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives and culture
  • Coordinate the process/policy/reporting changes in alignment with the systems
  • Deliver process automation in the appropriate areas
  • Support transition
  • Liaise with the internal/external stakeholders
  • Ensure control and compliance as per defined framework

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop standard operating procedures/policy/reporting of I2C
  • Develop and maintain training and communication materials and deliver training and workshops for AkzoNobel, BPO and captives
  • Previewer of any changes made to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Run fit-gap analysis and maintain deviation logs
  • Deliver the level of process/policy/reporting standardization
  • Contribute on delivering global processes/policies/reports
  • Process/policy/reporting standardization and continuous improvement
  • Facilitating the implementation and embedding of the GPD as part of the transition of processes currently not executed by the RACs
  • Participate in ad hoc projects and initiatives related to the designated area
  • Participate in system changes and secure that process/policy/reporting design is delivering as planned

 

Requirements

  • Degree/Bachelor in Economics/ Business Administration/Accounting/Controlling.
  • 10-15 years + in I2Cprocess operations and/or process design, Shared Services
  • Specialized knowledge of I2Cfinancial discipline, strategy and policies
  • Excellent understanding of I2Cprocess design, ERP systems and controls, including transactional accounting processes
  • Knowledge of I2Cprocess design methodologies
  • I2CProcess redesign/modelling experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Able to think and work conceptually, while taking into account the details and impact of the processes on Operations
  • Able to work together with other Functions/Towers; has a good understanding of interfaces between own function and others in the end to end processes
  • Proficient in English language
  • Ability to prioritize and sensitive to deadlines
  • Sensitive to a diverse and multi-cultural environment
  • 15-20% International travelling is required
