Job Purpose

Incumbent represents the Sales authority for AkzoNobel in areas including, Products, Systems, Bodyshop and Industry knowledge. Assists in achieving local budgeted sales by ensuring the sales excellence of our field staff and customers.

Geographical coverage  : Jakarta Bogor Tangerang Bekasi Depok Banten Lampung

  • Environmental conditions usually associated with this position. Will work in typical bodyshop and paintshop conditions and their associated hazards.
  • Will be required to travel as necessary in order to perform tasks associated with this position
Key Accountabilities
  1. Sales Leader
  • Provides vision to the organization regarding sales direction of skills and knowledge in line with market needs.
  1. People Development
  • Motivate technosales team to support in field.
  • Evaluates field force proficiency levels and defines development needs for each employee based on job requirements and implements a task based improvement plan
  1. Sales Support
  • Sets guidelines/checklists for technical field staff.
  • Provides quarterly training for dealer sales field staff.
  1. QHS&E
  • Promotes safe operation of company vehicles; monitors violations and takes actions to reduce offenses.
Key Activities

Experience
  • Good knowledge of business of bodyshops in areas including repair process, routing & layout, production & scheduling and procedures.
  • Complete understanding of the Akzo Nobel Selling process and Sikkens Service offer.
  • Job costing and basic bodyshop profitability
  • Thorough understanding of the CR market from a sales and process perspective
  • Possess commercial orientation/awareness
  •    Excellent coaching & training skills  
  •    Strong communication & good presentation skills
  •    Adaptable & flexible
  •    Work in high pressure
  •    Good team player
  •    Good spoken & written English
  •    PC Skills (Microsoft - Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
Education

University degree, with more than 5 years of relevant bodyshop industry experience with exposure to training and coaching or equivalent combination of education & experience.
