Production scheduler, Suzhou site

Job Purpose

As a Production scheduler at International Paint Suzhou, to be Excellent is the version for this key position.

You are responsible for arranging weekly Master Production Plan which to maximize efficiency and optimize use of resources/facilities internally while retaining enough flexibility to ensure that all customer needs are met in a timely and cost-effective way.

Manage, control and improve production related KPIs, including capacity, efficient, quality, safety, cost, waste and etc..

Deliver timely and high-quality reporting to assist manager make effective decisions.

Key Accountabilities

• Work with planner manager/production manager/site manager to review and track production capacity to fulfill with customer demand;  
• Schedule the production activities in terms of production plan and available resources weekly, monitor the fulfilment of the schedule daily.
• Coordinate activities to ensure capacity and materials are in place to support the production plan daily, escalate to management when needed;
• Provide daily feedback of the work order delay to master scheduler and to find win-win solutions for recovering the deviation;
• Work with process engineer to adjust and optimize production process;
• Work with shift supervisors to adjust and optimize people arrangement;
• Deliver regular reporting in time with high quality content.
• Work with finance colleagues to perform closing work orders and ensure special batches correct.

Experience

• College degree or above degree in logistics, Mathematics, Statistics or related major.
• At least 3 years’ customer service or planning working experience, preferably in manufacturing industry.
• Familiar with planning process and able to build strong relationships with various stakeholders.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Basic English skills.
• Good knowledge in SAP system.
• High sense of responsibility and loyalty
• Could work under high-pressure
