-    Build the local Business Support continuous improvement agenda,  define and drive opportunities to streamline processes, act as the change agent to the operations team to support the continuous business transformation and deliver operational excellence projects/programs.
-    Responsible for the operational HR delivery aligned to the HR agenda and business or functional agenda
-    In their area of responsibility they help the business or function to achieve  objectives by giving good quality HR advice and guidance based on sound HR knowledge, professionalism and an understanding of the AkzoNobel HR Strategy and practices
-    Contributes to the execution of the People Services strategy and targets for the allocated Service Center by developing, implementing and maintaining the People Services procedures / services consistent with the People Services Service Catalogue and Customer Service Principles 
-    Ensure People Services processes are compliant with local/Corporate internal control and audit requirement, as well as local Labor Law and related regulations.
-    Coordination and Execution of Office Management matters: Company Assets, Car Facility, supervise receptionist and cleaning service    

•    Identify business needs and/or opportunities for continuous improvement on people/HR related or admin work processes, techniques and systems, formulate proposals for improvement and execute these after approval;
•    Responsible for effective set up, infrastructure and operation of Front Office, Back Office, Payroll and Time reporting in line with People Services roles and responsibilities, including amongst others a case management system, portal, customer service help desk
•    Coordination and execution of payroll cycle process & related services for multi-Business Units. Maintenance and adherence to quality controls throughout the payroll process as defined by local payroll vendor and global standard
•    First Person in contact for HR Related Matters in PNG
•    Maintenance of reliable, well-functioning and appropriate HR Information Systems (including myHR, myCareer (Performance & Development Dialog, Talent Management Suite, Learning Management System, e-Recruitment) system interface etc.) to ensure People Services functional operations at a high quality
•    Support and coach managers in dealing with day to day employee management, performance management and labour matters. 
•    Responsible to ensure the adherence of company practices with local Labour regulation, build connection with local Federation Network, etc.
