Job Purpose
Contributes to the execution of the sales and profitability targets across the BU, across regions and countries as necessary, by proactive and professional development and delivery of high quality digital and technical support training, services and communications for internal and external customers, contributing to improving our broad technical capabilities and excellence.
Key Accountabilities
Develops, maintains and communicates technical documentation, platforms, communications, and training materials, etc. for use by the technical communities across the Asian region
Develops and/or delivers professional (mainly digital) training on the use and application of the company products, equipment and documentation to A&SC Asia’s key account customer and OEM manufacturers.
Supports Regional Technical Service Manager- Vehicle Refinish/Automotive Asia on managing technical activities, including Automotive Training Centers and technical functions: equipment implementation, training program, training activities, technical meetings and consistent brand image across the technical network
Supports technical processes across Asia by facilitating the Vehicle Refinishes Technical complaints investigation process from a technical perspective, reports on status and metrics, and implements technical improvement initiatives to address and improve key trends
Supports key technical service and support initiatives to further develop the capabilities of the technical service team across the region, such as training and development, remote technical services, OEM projects and many others
Cooperates with Key Account Managers, Sales Support staff, Technical Managers and Technical Consultants on technical projects and activities across Asia.
Is familiar with all the applicable corporate as well as site policies/procedures with the regard to personal conduct/HSE standards and acts in compliance with all their regulations
Experience
Technician or Trade background experience in Vehicle Refinish or Smash Repair industry
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
Excellent attention to detail
Good experience in creating digital content for training
Ability to create training material for variety of products and equipment
Experience building training programs for technical and hands on environments.
Experience of working with different countries would be desirable
