About the Role
Location: Port Melbourne, VIC
Employment Type: Full-time – Immediate start highly preferred
Join our commercial team and play a key role in driving operational excellence, data integrity, and sales support across the business. We’re seeking a highly organised and commercially minded Commercial Coordinator who thrives in a structured environment and enjoys balancing independent work with cross-functional collaboration.
In this role, you will provide advanced support to the commercial and sales teams, manage key systems and reporting, and help ensure smooth end-to-end customer and order processes. If you have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for efficiency, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage CRM data to ensure accuracy and completeness, including user access administration and report creation.
- Develop and deliver daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports across states, distributors, and product categories.
- Build reporting systems and work closely with state sales managers on budget monitoring and performance tracking.
- Identify critical supply shortages or overstock (SLOB) items and provide feedback for demand planning and forecasting.
- Coordinate export orders and container movements for New Zealand customers; manage internal commercial installation orders and liaise with customers, distributors, warehouses, purchasing, and freight partners.
- Support customer service and sales teams with troubleshooting on orders, lead times, logistics issues, and related enquiries.
- Issue invoices, process credits, prepare account statements, and monitor monthly billing reports for central billing customers.
- Provide general administrative support to the commercial team as required.
About You
- High level of professionalism, ethics, and integrity, with the ability to work independently.

- A continuous improvement mindset with a strong focus on efficiency and accuracy.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- SAP experience is highly desirable.
- Strongly preferred experience with CRM platforms, particularly Salesforce.
- Solid background in data analysis and/or business analysis is strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to produce high-quality reports, presentations, and briefing materials.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent multitasking skills.
- Proactive, self-sufficient, and able to take initiative to get things done.
- Availability for an immediate start is highly preferred.
