About the role
As a Local IT Officer, you will be the primary IT contact for users in your geographical area, ensuring efficient IT service delivery and prompt issue resolution. This role requires a hands-on approach to IT support, training, and stakeholder management. You will actively engage with end-users, manage local IT operations, support global IT projects, and ensure compliance with IT security and asset management protocols. This role requires presence in the Pilawa factory at least twice a week.
Key responsibilities
• Provide proactive IT support, ensuring efficient use of IT tools and systems.
• Monitor and enhance local customer satisfaction by addressing IT issues and feedback.
• Ensure compliance with standard IT processes, issue resolution, and escalation procedures.
• Act as the local representative for IT projects and rollouts.
• Facilitate IT training and communication to keep local users informed.
• Manage IT incidents, collaborate with global teams, and oversee timely resolution.
• Oversee IT asset management, maintaining accurate records of hardware and software.
• Manage financial processes for local IT costs, including invoicing and purchase orders.
Job requirements
• Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of IT experience, including 3-5 years managing IT services in a local or global organization.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including networking, firewalls, and workplace services.
• Service-oriented mindset with experience in shared IT solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle operational challenges under pressure.
• Process-driven, with experience in continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
• Fluency in both Polish and English.
• Hands-on experience with IT tools and service management best practices.
