Job Purpose

The Sales Associate is responsible for managing the customers and implementing the sales programme in the current Sales Channels (Distributors & Direct Dealers) with the objectives of delivering sales targets for the assigned customers.

He or She is responsible for customer’s coverage planning and implementing the agreed sales and marketing programs to protect and build company’s business in assigned area.

Key Accountabilities

  • Monitor the sales performance for each customer daily and ensure the consistent month’s orders from each customer.
  • Review the sales achievement vs. targets with each customer.
  • Maintain or improve the Channel Health for the area.
  • Implementation of agreed sales activities, promotions, new products launches, road-shows etc in the areas.
    • Ensure achievement of the agreed milestones and target set for his assigned customers.
  • Recommend action plans by customers to meet the sales targets

Key Activities

  • To handle the channel partners with different behaviours and demands and gain full loyalty to our brand.
  • To maintain the price stability in the market and reduce price under-cutting among the channels partners.
  • To maintain our shelves and display domination in the channel outlets.

Experience

  • Minimum 1- 2 years experience in Sales.  Experience of sales in coatings, hardware, building materials industry or other retailing is an advantage.

  • Positive attitude.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision.

Education

  • Minimum Diploma holders in Marketing or Business Studies.  Degree holder is an advantage.
