Job Description

This role is responsible for driving sales growth by developing and managing customer relationships, providing technical specifications, and promoting paint products and services. This role involves collaborating with developers, architects, contractors and applicator to deliver tailored solutions and ensure the effective specification and application of paint products.

·  Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, architects, contractors, and applicators.
  • Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their specific requirements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback.

·  Sales and Business Development:

  • Promote and sell the AN products and services to existing and potential clients.
  • Identify new business opportunities and drive the conversion of leads into sales.
  • Conduct presentations and demonstrations to showcase the benefits and features of paint products.

·   Specification Management:

  • Provide expert advice on product specifications, including technical details, application methods, and performance standards.
  • Prepare and deliver customized specifications based on customer requirements and project needs.

·  Project Support:

  • Manage the specification process from initial contact through to the point of sale, ensuring alignment with customer needs and project requirements.
  • Oversee the tendering process and support project implementation as needed.

·  Training and Support:

  • Conduct On Job Training (OJT)/Kick off meeting for customers and their teams to educate them about product features, benefits, and application techniques.
  • Provide ongoing support to ensure customer satisfaction and address any issues that arise during or after project completion

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 4-5 years of experience in sales, specification, or a similar role within the paint or construction industry or building material.
  • Strong understanding of paint products, technical specifications, and application methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites and attend industry events.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
