Job Description

The I2C Senior Team Lead plays a mentorship role to the other I2C Team Leads in KL. The role also supports the I2C Regional Process Delivery Lead (RPDL) in strategizing the overall execution of the operations within the I2C KL team, which will include delivering on operations, process and people agenda of GBS. Contributing to the success and the wellbeing of the team, the I2C Senior Team Lead will also take part in executing mission of entire I2C Tower.

Key objectives of the job are:
•    Maintain high level business partnership with all BUs in the assigned cluster of countries.
•    Manage the country leads / experts / specialists for the Cluster.
•    Follow up on the performance in South Asia Pacific region, ensure quality of service to BUs, harmonize the support
•    Provide qualitative information to management regarding AR, Credit and Collections, with focus on overdue debt and other relevant KPI’s.
•    Drive the resolution of Disputes and minimize the turn-around-time
•    Execute I2C strategy, manage the change around Credit Management and Collections
•    Drive various improvement and organization projects, focus on Continuous Improvement and global I2C agenda
•    Ensure and monitor the team's compliance with legislation and internal regulations 

•    Drive team to deliver I2C operation results to target and managing effectively the processes
•    Analyze overdue debt and collection effectiveness for the cluster of countries to identify improvements and strategize plans to improve I2C results.
•    Act as a business partner for both internal and external stakeholders to ensure sound risk management as well as identify and action on opportunities to realize revenue growth. 
•    Be the process coach for the I2C KL team; this includes providing process guidance to and collaborating with global I2C Global Process teams to discuss improvement areas and/or to execute changes to processes.  
•    Responsible to ensure that the team executes their activities in compliance to AkzoNobel policies and procedures
•    Be the first point of escalation for I2C KL operations matter
•    Support global projects and improvements to reach the required milestones
•    Deliver on deadlines, monitor activities and processes
•    Ability to work and secure leadership under stress
•    Ability to deliver in short deadlines
•    Advice on development of organization
•    Drive changes; be agile to adapt to changes quickly 
•    Work on continuous improvement
•    Guide team in effective problem-solving techniques
•    Evaluate problems and apply the solutions within I2C or cross-functionally with other stakeholders. 
•    Provides guidance to new team leads in KL

Job Requirement


•    Degree level in Finance/Accounting/Business or equivalent.
•    10+ years finance and/or Credit management level experience, with a minimum 5 years’ experience of managing a Credit & Collections team.
•    Experience working in matrix organization.
•    Demonstrated leadership within a multicultural environment.
•    Experience in SAP / CFIN / and other ERP..
•    Tactical thinking and ability to make a difference at a regional level.
•    Business Partnership and people affiliation skills
•    Experience in implementation of standard processes (change management skills).
•    Able to set priorities, delegate and develop a team independently and proactively.
•    Full order to cash end to end process knowledge and experience.
•    Fluent in English (written and spoken).
•    Experience in sales/customer focused commercial role.
•    Problem solving and decision-making ability
•    Extended knowledge of Order To Cash end to end process and experience.
•    Experience in customer focused role, with real passion
