Job Description
• Manage and implement the countries’ innovation roadmap for appointed retail products/sub-brands to ensure healthy pipeline and margins for the portfolio. This includes adopting regional innovation projects, and initiating local projects aligned with the brand architecture and regional directions, working closely with RDI and Regional Marketing.
• Adapt the packaging and livery designs for the assigned portfolio, ensuring consistency with brand positioning. Manage livery approval process locally and with the region.
• Project management of the end-to-end innovation projects (migration, phase out, new introductions) with minimum disruption to the business, in collaboration with Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing and Finance.
• Prepare and drive compliance with Stage gate processes for each project/innovation.
• Lead the development and implementation of the annual marketing plan for the category and new products/sub-brands, in alignment with local and regional directions.
• Monitor key competitors in the category; recommend and lead implementation of needed tactical initiatives and changes in the marketing mix.
• Monitor brand KPIs (market share, volume & value sales, brand profitability); recommend and drive the necessary action plans to achieve objectives.
• Manage A&P for the category, monitor effectiveness of key marketing initiatives and activations.
• Actively support and contribute to the Country PMR.
• Adapt ASEAN communications and activation for the appointed brands; develop and implement local campaigns in alignment with regional directions.
• Collaborate closely with agency partners - creative, activation, media - throughout the whole process to ensure that execution will deliver against the objectives and brand/campaign guidelines.
• Closely collaborate in the capacity of Brand experience/Colour in developing relevant content and collaterals, deploy digital content thru Digital team.
• Collaborate closely with Customer Marketing and Sales to align and integrate activation implementation (POS materials, in-store, painting contractor, direct-to-consumer)
• Organize and deliver product knowledge, application trainings through basic and intermediate courses for multiple stakeholders (Dulux Painter’s Club painters, internal Deco Commercial staff, Retailer staff and project customers).
• Measure, evaluate and course-correct the campaigns. Identify key learnings for sharing and use in coming campaigns.
• Development of the training modules and content for basic and intermediate courses, and also field training purposes.
• Leverage on global, regional and local RD&I + Marketing resources for content development and best practice implementation.
• Source and deploy effective platforms and avenues for product knowledge, painting application and training for multiple stakeholder groups
• Set and maintain standards per the product specifications for the category, including responding to competitive pressures, eg, product benchmarking, and market feedback eg., quality complaints
• Comply with Product Stewardship policies and guidelines and relevant HSES guidelines; support timely submission of reports
Job Requirement
• Bachelor’s degree required in any related field; post-graduation in chemical/construction.
• Minimum 3 years’ experiences in relevant construction & waterproofing industries, preferably with marketing/brand activation experience.
• Solid understanding of waterproofing and application methods.
• Comfortable to work with external customers.
• Good communication skills, having experience in conducting training.
• Flexible, detail-oriented, and capable of working with teams across multiple geographies and time zones.
• Strong interpersonal skills, influencing capabilities, project management skills, and the ability to work independently.
