Job Purpose
To provide a technical service to customers regarding quality and application of paint and ensure all parties understand and agree on the painting requirements as well as contributing to commercial activities in coordination with Sales Team of Marine and Protective BU at AkzoNobel.
Location
Key Accountabilities

Advise and provide recommendations on paint specification and application;

Conduct inspections to ensure paint is applied in acceptable conditions and according to specification; reporting the results of inspections;

Assist to the Sales team with introducing of any new products and upgrading or changing paint specification;

Arrange where necessary assistance and application training for new or high value products to the customers;

Prepare Technical Coating Reports and ensure all relevant documentation is available regarding project;

Represent the company from a sales perspective and be targeted to deliver sales results;

Comply with technical service specific company HSE rules.
Requirements

High school diploma or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Technology, Material Engineering;

Min. 3-year experience in a technical service environment in industrial and marine coatings;

Customer and commercially oriented attitude;

An understanding of inspection skills and procedures, attention to detail to ensure compliance and quality;

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with end users, colleagues, and management to quickly resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction;

Diplomatic, and solution oriented approach;
-
Good command of English (min. B2 level) and Polish;
-
FROSIO or NACE qualification is a substantial advantage.
