Job Purpose

The purpose of this job is to manage the Country portfolio of Premium Interior paint products, including topcoats, primer/sealer and other essential system components, so that the category maintains a 
competitive and healthy equity, and grows profitably. This includes driving the implementation of Country marketing plan, communications and innovation roadmap for the portfolio.

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Drive the requirements of consumer insights with Knowledge & Insights team to gain and utilize local understanding and insights in the category 
  • Lead the development and implementation of the annual marketing plan for the category and products/sub-brands, in alignment with regional directions 
  • Manage the implementation of the SESA brand architecture, pricing architecture and brand positioning for products/sub-brands in the Premium Interior portfolio. 
  • Manage any related implications (migrate, phase out, re-name, launch) with minimum disruption to the business, in collaboration with Supply Chain, Sales and Customer Marketing 
  • Manage and implement the Country innovation roadmap for Premium Interior Retail products/subbrands to ensure healthy pipeline and margins for the portfolio. This includes adopting regional innovation projects, and initiating local projects aligned with the brand architecture and regional 
  • directions. 
  • Define/Refine the specifications for each innovation project, taking into account the local competitors and consumer/painter needs, collaborating closely with RDI Adapt pan-SESA communications and activation for the Interior Premium brands; develop and implement local campaigns in alignment with regional directions. 
  • Collaborate closely with agency partners -- creative, activation, media -- throughout the whole process to ensure that execution will deliver against the objectives and brand/campaign guidelines Set and maintain standards per the product specifications for the category, including responding to competitive pressures, eg, product benchmarking, and market feedback eg., quality complaints

Experience

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Marketing or related field
  • Minimum of 6 years in a marketing role, with at least 3 years in brand management
  • Good interpersonal skill, pro-active, self-motivated, energetic person
  • Proficient in English.
