Job Purpose
Coordinates the maintenance and supports the Process Owners in the deployment the manufacturing site Quality Management System to meet IATF 16949 applicable requirements, assesses its adequacy and proactively improves it. Coordinates, maintains, conducts internal audits to the automotive standard and develop internal auditors. Manages customer and internal complaints responses, investigations and interactions with commercial quality.
Job Responsibilities
- Interacts with Commercial Quality to ensure automotive industry requirements are complied with and maintains the site abreast of changes in requirements developing plans to comply with those.
- Coordinates the Manufacturing Site process owner's efforts to meet the automotive standard requirements (ISO + IATF)
- Promotes, develops and implements quality assurance procedures supporting process owners and systems to improve and maintain quality under the IATF 16949 automotive standards.
- Ensures that all site employees are thoroughly familiar with the philosophy, quality statement, quality manual, and are trained in the appropriate procedures under IATF 16949.
- Maintains quality equipment by monitoring performance, calibration and conducting preventive maintenance and applicable automotive requirements.
- Supports in customer and internal quality audits. (ISO, IATF).
- Coordinates and represents the site to maintain quality certifications (ISO, IATF).
- Generates quality information by preparing required reports and maintaining relevant records.
- Provides assistance, gives advice and distributes information to customers, suppliers, sales and internal departments related to product quality. Actively supports deployment of ALPS Quality Management processes integrating them into the Quality Management System. ALPS deployment.
- Is familiar and complies with all the applicable corporate as well as site and laboratory policies/procedures with regard to Quality, personal conduct, HSE and Product Safety & Regulatory Affairs (PSRA) standards.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, preferably Engineering
- Required-IAFT 16949/ISO9001: 2015 Certified Auditor, Lead Auditor is a plus, expert knowledge.
- 3 years minimum, Quality Management Systems experience in automotive industry preferably experience with Automotive OEM or suppliers.
- Ability to build a good working relationship amongst all teams, international and domestic.
- Proven successful track record in leading management system applications.
Compensation Data
The salary range for these skills is: $79,000- $88,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
