Job Purpose
Lead and support projects within the Industrial Transformation program for Marine, Protective, and Yacht coatings as part of the integrated supply chain team. In this project-based role, will drive the achievement of workstream objectives and standards by optimizing supply chain processes, techniques, and systems across multiple regions. Take ownership of logistics solutions and contribute to value-driven initiatives that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the integrated supply chain.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead network optimization projects to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of third-party logistics (3PL) and internal warehouse operations.
- Analyze current warehouse and distribution network performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to optimize inventory flow, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met and performance metrics are tracked.
- Confer with logistics management teams to optimize service levels, maintain supply-chain efficiency, and minimize cost.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, procurement, and Information Technology, to develop and implement strategies for logistics and supply chain improvements.
- Develop and maintain project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, while providing regular updates to stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics processes and systems, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related field preferred.
- 5 years' supply chain experience in a logistics environment.
- 3 years' experience using SAP.
- Proven experience managing third-party logistics (3PL) relationships and internal warehouse operations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building effective relationships with internal teams and external partners.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Must be able to travel up to 10%.
