Job Purpose

This role entails overseeing and ensuring the smooth operation of SAP Logistics Processes across business units and countries within the NAM Region, acting as a master coach in SAP Logistics Processes. This involves coordinating all Logistics SAP (Key-) Users across different countries and business units while indirectly reporting to Logistics (Key-) Users and Stock Controllers. Additionally, the role includes spearheading cross-business unit projects for Warehousing and Transport, as well as providing support to Logistics Managers in implementing and monitoring Logistics KPIs and Warehousing and Freight Cost Control aligned with the SRM NAM Regional Team. As a Stock Controller, the job involves daily reconciliation and synchronization between different IT systems and providing regular reports on activities. Furthermore, the position supports and leads SAP Test Coordination in logistics implementations, facilitates change management in operations, and effectively communicates with various stakeholders regarding performance or project changes.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible to define Cross BU – Cross Country Logistics processes in NAM Region within SAP Systems.
  • Lead standardization Logistics Processes into NAM Region.
  • Define and deploy Warehouse and Transportation Performance Metrics. Support Logistics Managers to deploy KPI’s.
  • Reconcile Logistics data, track the stock movements and the deliveries, keep updated inventory records and delivery status in the IT systems. Ensure daily reconciliations to guarantee IT systems are fully synchronized by verifying the conformity of the communication flows (EDI monitoring for example).
  • Plan and carry out stock management operations in line with the procedures and policies (stock adjustments, stock transfer, kitting, scrapping, etc.).
  • Oversee inventories, contribute to improve stock health (for example recommend, plan and execute scrapping decisions).
  • Oversee self-billing procedures and supplier invoices to ensure adherence to contractual prices and agreements. Support the resolution of complaints or discrepancies.
  • Report the cost of the services to the Finances teams and maintain the service purchase orders (ie service receipt, accruals). Provide support on the vendor invoice processes (Purchase to Pay).
  • Be the first point of contact for Key / End Users for subprocess related questions and issues.
  • Look for improvements, drive best practices and share good practice ideas.

 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • SAP LE experience – must have minimum 3-5 years
  • Training coordination and administration (minimum 3 years)
  • Proficient in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Comfortable leading training programs for large audiences.
  • Clear communicator with all levels of the business.

Compensation Data

The salary range for these skills is: $82,000.00 - $91,000.00.  This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.  This salary range may also be modified in the future.
