Job Purpose

To contribute to the profitability and prosperity of AkzoNobel Oman by supervising the RM Store operations in such a manner that all resources are in place and focused towards achieving excellent customer service in accordance with Supply Chain Strategy.

To plan and execute the safe storage of all raw and packaging materials in line with good warehousing practices and in line with recommended storage conditions requirements and to ensure the availability of those materials for production and packaging activities as and when required.

Key Accountabilities

  • Manage RM Store operations in line with quality and HSE&S requirements
  • Raw and packaging materials receiving and safe storage activities
  • Managing off site and 3rd party storage locations
  • Ensuring accurate inventory management practices along with raw materials expiry management practices
  • Implement Safety, Health & Environment & Quality activities
  • Team management and development

Experience

  • Minimum High School Certificate. University Degree is ideal (Engineering, Sciences or Supply Chain related fields).
  • Relevant experience in Manufacturing environment working in Raw Materials store
  • Good analytical ability
  • Ability to work un-supervised
  • High Excel proficiency
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems (Eg SAP / Accpacc etc)
  • Good English communication skills
