About the role

The Role

We are looking for a Technical Service Engineer – Paint & Coating Industry to provide support and training on the use and applications of our company products and services, acquire new business and maintain existing customers and the connection point between customers, sales and various other departments.

  • Conduct and/or assist in the testing process and implementation of new products and technologies
  • Perform technical scans and audits at designated customers sites
  • Proactively prevent and solve problems of a technical nature occurring with existing customers
  • Provide reports and documentation on trends, recommendation on improvements and complete information on key customers
  • Support product development with prototype selection advice and test market execution

The role will be based in Sunshine North, reporting to our Technical Services Manager.

What you will need

We will need you to have

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science
  • Experience with paints or coating
  • Excellent communication skills to communicate with all levels both internally and externally
