Job Purpose

Lead the ISC Control organization within the region, acting as a Business partner supporting the regional ISC organization in development and executing the functional strategy, particularly in the areas of manufacturing, supply chain and procurement. Develop, promote and implement Finance strategy and manage the financial cycle for the regional ISC Control team as a member of the regional ISC Management Team.

•    Responsible for the ISC Control finance community development in the region
•    Support roll-out of global improvement projects

 

Key Accountabilities

•    Expert at understanding the operations of the business and ultimately responsible for driving financial analysis and using its insights to contribute to the decision making by the business.

•    Ensures that ISC decisions are made in line with long term value creation objectives, within the applicable financial and other frameworks (such as corporate policy, strategic, operational, legal, social responsibility etc.).

•    Play a prominent role in regional Capex planning (AR) and investment decisions

•    Performs, oversees, manages and directs the financial analysis, IBP and forecasting efforts including capital, short and long term planning, financial modeling and business analysis of performance metrics for the regional ISC organization. Partner with the global ISC Controller and corporate leaders in the execution of these efforts.

•    Lead and manage the regional Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) performance management process in line with the Integrated Business Planning process

•    Monitors execution of the regional ISC Control strategy from a financial perspective

•    Works in close alignment with the other functional towers (Commercial Control, FP&A and Finance Operations) and GBS in the regions

•    Collaborates with other areas of the Finance function to ensure reliable, timely and correct supply of information and the proper set-up and functioning of the ISC planning & control-processes, administrative organization, internal controls and information systems.

•    Work with Regional Internal Control representative to establish the appropriate internal control framework for the regional ISC Control organization

 

Experience

•    Bachelor/Master’s degree in economics, accounting, business administration or equivalent
•    Years of experience in multiple finance positions in an industrial/manufacturing environment (this very much depends on the site and the profile of the candidate)
•    Independent, self-starting and interested in what is behind the numbers
•    Highly analytical, with problem-solving and pragmatic skills
•    Able to communicate effectively with site management and others on site
•    Strong team player with good interpersonal skills
•    Fluent in English, both verbal as well as in writing
•    High proficiency in SAP and other business applications
•    Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
•    People manager with the ability to build strong teams and lead and inspire others
•    High level of customer orientation, strategic orientation, results orientation, change management, ownership and collaboration
•    Able to build (informal) networks within the organization and manage changes
