What you will do?
As a Product Manager, you will own, manage and enhance the segment product portfolios for Building Products and Flooring in alignment with the segment strategies and market trends. You will administer the product portfolio ensuring it meets customer expectations and needs throughout the whole life cycle, and will drive the development of new or replacement products as well as manage the phaseout of products toward end of life. You will drive the product and technology roadmap, presenting conclusions and recommendations ensuring we have a futureproof portfolio meeting the market demands of the present and the future.
In addition, you will work closely with colleagues in different functions like RD&I, Technical Service or Sales, to create business cases and ensure that product requirements are clearly defined and integrated into the product development processes. Leading cross-functional Stage Gate projects from start to finish will be a significant part of your responsibilities. Furthermore, you will coordinate the market launch of new products and guide multi-disciplinary teams through launch planning and preparation. You will also collaborate with Marketing and Sales to ensure maximum market penetration for product introductions, and you will maintain key performance indicators to assess the overall health of the product portfolio.
You will report to Regional Product Marketing Manager EMEA and will be located at our site in Malmö.
Who you are?
You excel at building strong relationships with colleagues and customers, and you have a solid understanding of Project and Program Management. Your ability to develop and communicate product and marketing strategies to stakeholders in different functions and across management levels is impressive. With your keen business sense and strong analytical skills, you are a valuable asset to any team.
You thrive in collaborating with cross-functional teams and are comfortable executing product plans while engaging with key stakeholders. Your commercial acumen, structured approach and technical expertise are top-notch. You are results-driven, an excellent communicator, and you enjoy working in a collaborative environment. You also need to have:
• Experience of 5+ years in either Product Management, Marketing, R&D, Manufacturing, or Technical Service
• University qualification in business management, marketing; engineering or chemistry
