Job Purpose

The Human Resource Specialist/TA Partner will run the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) function for a single manufacturing site, including locally focused recruitment efforts. Role will manage complexity of short term and long term deliverables. Support business strategies and support the operational HR delivery aligned to the business or functional agenda. Help leaders make grounded decisions, assist with Business Transformation Programs by providing quality HR advice and guidance based on sound HR knowledge, professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

HR Operations:

  • Provide day to day support to Supervisors and Managers to facilitate planning and decision making in areas such as recruitment, employee development, employee relations and engagement.
  • Support the Performance & Development Cycle by guiding leaders through setting objectives, check ins, annual performance review Talent calibration processes.
  • Assist with employee related concerns related to leave of absence, pay corrections and employee record corrections, system access and other employee related concerns.
  • Monitor, support and analyze and present Site Key Performance Indicators (KPI) metrics using HR analytics.
  • Utilize HRIS system for managing employee records, transactions, Workforce Planning, Position Management and HR administration.

Recruitment:

  • Assist with attracting and retaining talent by assisting with interviews, hiring, and onboarding for external and internal employees.
  • Support internal staffing initiatives to support hiring, promoting and transferring internal employees.
  • Identify future hiring needs, assist with developing job descriptions, assist, job evaluations and job specifications.
  • Support full recruiting process end to end to include posting vacancies internally & externally, manage job requisitions, schedule phone screens & interviews, background checks, & extend internal/external offers.
  • Facilitate attracting suitable candidates through employment databases, online employment forums, job fairs and social media through job ads.

Compliance:   

  • Safeguard the company by ensuring compliance to local legal requirements in all aspects of HR policies.

Strategic Partner:

  • Facilitate strategic planning for short term and long-term planning by consulting and leading decisions with various levels of management in collaboration with local COE partner and global leadership.
  • Participate in trainings in the areas of legal, compensations, benefits, talent & development, talent acquisition, contingent workforce vendor, safety, HRIS workforce systems and HRIS analytics.
     

Level of Autonomy

Sound judgement and discretion as to how to prioritize and perform the job’s responsibilities are required. The role provides expert HR and Recruitment advice and recommends changes and compliance actions. The incumbent must be able to apply professional judgement in independently managing HR generalist and recruitment responsibilities.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or any combination of education and experience that aligns with the job expectations.
  • 2+ years HR generalist experience with talent screening and sourcing experience preferred. 
  • Fluent English (both written and spoken)
  • Service and solution focused mindset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, highly developed interpersonal skills – individual, group 
  • Ability to excel in a fast paced, complex environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to utilize multiple computer systems programs 
  • Ability to travel when needed.

Rewards & Benefits

The salary range for these skills is: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
