Job Purpose
This position will act as the Finance business partner and trusted on site advisor to the Film team through a strong understanding of the Film business and the levers that drive growth and profitability. Drive costing and pricing activities for the Film business and evaluate the financial impact of potential opportunities and challenges. Enhance Sales team performance through support and close collaboration on customer quotations, RFI’s & RFQs. This role acts as key support to the business, commercial finance, ISC Finance, and participates in MEC activities, budgets, and forecasts processes.
Job Responsibilities
- Support commercial & ISC finance in Film MEC activities.
- Together with commercial & ISC finance, properly analyze month end results, drivers and justify any deviation.
- Drive costing process for the site, in coordination with ISC, Finance and Engineering.
- Provide Sales teams with details on costing which drives RFQs.
- Support; as needed; sales team in preparing standard deal calculators.
- Ensure internal processes adherence for any potential deals.
- Ensure Inventory is well managed and iHart records are always up to date & matching Syteline.
- Keep track of the Fixed manufacturing Costs of the site.
- Drive pricing activities for Film business
- Drive activities to execute on Film pricing strategies and margin management goals
- Develop cost of Serve Model, Manage and maintain for business
- Offer suggestions on costing methodologies to improve ways of working to keep variances to a minimum
- Review and define costing methodologies
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field
- 3-5+ years of relevant experience, preferably within the coatings, or other manufacturing industry.
- 3-5+ years’ experience in costing, pricing, and margin management
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
- Previous experience with Syteline ERP is plus
- Advanced Excel skills required (including advanced knowledge of pivot tables)
