Job Purpose

  • Plan and execute distributor geographies to ensure optimal market coverage and efficiency.
  • Oversee and manage distributor operations across the country to ensure smooth business execution.
  • Drive capability development within the organization to strengthen distributor management and operations.
  • Ensure effective market activation, growth in numeric reach, and a continuous increase in volume per retailer.

Key Accountabilities

  • Responsible for appointing distributors nationwide in line with the company’s vision and strategic objectives.
  • Ensure that distributors are fully aligned with the company’s direction in terms of investments, ROI, OTIF, and overall performance expectations.
  • Achieve numeric distribution targets across the country as per defined goals.
  • Collaborate and align with cross-functional teams to effectively deliver the distributor agenda.
  • Provide timely and relevant market insights to the Commercial Director to support strategic decision-making.
  • Support and guide the team to uphold AkzoNobel’s Values and Code of Conduct at all times.

Education & Experience

  • Postgraduate with 10–12 years of experience in channel management, particularly in distributor appointment and operations.
