Communications Manager (m/w/d) DACH

 

Your Responsibilities

​​​​​​​

  • Driving internal and external communications strategies tailored to the DACH market in collaboration with the EMEA and global communications team
  • Acting as a business partner for the DACH key stakeholders (e.g. local business leaders, Marketing and HR) to create a communication strategy to realize local business priorities
  • Driving positive company reputation e.g. through proactive social media management and networking with external stakeholders such as journalists, government or NGOs
  • Fostering awareness of company strategies and purposes, by serving as an advocate for the organization
  • Planning and executing targeted communication campaigns 
  • Implementing media monitoring techniques and providing media training for senior leaders
  • Managing communication and public affairs issues, including different crises and emergencies 
  • Identifying potential risks affecting the company's reputation and providing measures to mitigate harm

 

Your Qualifications

​​​​​​​

  • Proven experience in internal and external communications in an international multi-stakeholder environment including crisis communications
  • Experience with traditional and digital (social) media channels
  • Excellent German and English language skills, additional French language skills preferred
  • Ability to create editorial content – e.g. press releases, articles, videos, social media posts 
  • Comfortable to moderate local webcasts, local town halls and internal trainings 
  • Understanding of local economic developments, trends and the ability to translate these into communication opportunities
  • Pro-active mindset and experienced working with KPI
