Job Purpose

 

Ensure effective administration of facilities, fleet, and office support services while maintaining compliance with safety, risk, and operational requirements. The role contributes to seamless business operations through proactive coordination, stakeholder support, and reliable execution of administrative and logistical tasks.

Key Accountabilities

 

1.    Ensure that all collections and delivery of postal items are executed promptly Collection of mail from Post Office, Attorneys, Denver.  Do the franking of mail
2.    Transporting people from and to the airport when required, driver duties
3.    Fleet Administration: Process all requests for new, renewal and cancellation of lost petrol cards for all fleet cars.  Inform any changes to Absa. 
4.    Administer all accidents and theft claims on behalf of the Company   
5.    Update and follow up of the Facilities Work sheet items
6.     Do a weekly Building Inspection
7.    Risk assessment for Facilities to be updated and actions to be executed and followed up.
8.    Issuing work permits to contractors and any other ad hoc requests related to facilities
9.    Assist on Frontline Reception when required 
10.    Motor vehicle Licenses Administration
11.    Oversee Pool cars
12.    Ad hoc assistance by manager if needed
13.    Appointed as Proxy for the Company
14.    Serve on the HSE Committee  

 

Experience

 

  • Grade 12 graduate, with 5 years transport admin experience
  • Drivers License is a must
  • Vehicle Maintenance and Insurance knowledge
  • Administration knowledge
  • Well spoken and written English
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office
