Job Responsibilities

Have deeply engaged in the field of paint colors, have both technical research and management experience. good at optimizing color matching processes using Performs or oversees the work on technical workstreams such as new product introduction, raw material changes, product testing, and root cause analysis

Good at optimizing color matching processes using digital tools, developing paint color databases, and am proficient in the operation and maintenance of automatic color matching systems Work collaboratively with Production, QC, HSE&S, and others to develop processes, and define safe and efficient operating procedures.

Well-versed in the characteristics of various color matching systems and equipment on the market. Investigate and determine corrective actions for production problems and customer complaints, and investigate production problems related to formulation, quality control and manufacturing issues.

Support projects for automatic color of wooden paint matching for distributor and terminal customer Provide progress reports, monthly and quarterly reports, technical plans, and project summaries to ensure appropriate communication of project status and needs and ensure proper testing procedures are in place and followed.

Experience

University graduated in Chemistry or relevant Field. Masters preferred.

At least 10 years of color/technical experience on Wood Coatings in top wood coatings manufacturers.

Can write and speech English. Speaking Chinese would be preferred.

Hands on experience in paints and coatings field such as formulation skills, spraying techniques, handling of testing equipment’s.

Technical knowledge of the various types of coatings used on wooden surfaces.

Develop the color materials/tools and implement digital color match software, spectrometer and auto-tinting system
