Job Purpose

  1. Coordination function among sales team and TSR in his responsible area
  2. Provide the technical assistance, advice and build good cummunication with/to the MPC customer
  3. Manage time and keep high inspection standard in order to provide services to the MPC customers.
  4. Give a suggestion to TSM the training need for the TSR in his area, and keep update the status.
  5. Supporting on sales team activities, especially on focus product selling
  6. Initiative and promote the selling services.
  7. Active to do campaign and promotion on Interplan.
  8. Ensure all the TSR (in his area) provide services activities and ensure meet to the CES contract
  9. To be able to protect the company interest against some poor execution of works that may lead to potential product performance claims

Key Accountabilities

  1. Provide good coordination with the Sales Team, Customers Service, Owner’s Representative, Shop/Shipyard owner, and Applicators for the project’s requirements, schedules and documentations.
  2. Build relationship with people involved in the painting project at sites/shops/shipyards.
  3. Provide information to the M&PC Team for activities, updates, developments and progress with regards to the painting project.
  4. Assist Sales Team and TSR in preparing and providing accurate product forecasting, to be submitted in a regular basis and stocks management to ensure no returns of goods after completion of project.
  5. To be involved in customer complaints’ investigation and provide technical report/document.
  6. Responsible for report tracking on time submission and quality from the team member.
  7. Provide the weekly schedule and monthly report to TSM
  8. Monitor project progress and advise on product stock levels to the sales team.
  9. Fully understand safety knowledge and implement the safety behaviour according to Akzonobel values.
  10. Responsible to execute the SHE Improvement Plan in his area

Key Activities

  1. Set up the team member job allocation to fulfill the demand of ongoing project.
  2. Provide the external training for the MPC customer
  3. Raise the exception report, if there is a deviation from the specification, procedure and applicable standard at the site, and rectifiy the deviation if it necessary.
  4. Provide interpretation of coating tests results then advise for some remedies for failure to comply on specification requirements.
  5. Provide input/suggestion for Interspec provided by sales team
  6. Document review and sign on project inspection sheets if required to confirm completion of a relevant stage.

Experience

  1. Able to communicate in English ; speaking and writing.
  2. Minimum NACE Coating Inspector Program level 2 certification
  3. Computer literate
  4. Communication, presentation, managerial and selling skills
  5. Minimum 5 years in the coating industry
